At Rutland Dental Centre, a welcoming and modern dentist office in Kelowna, we’re proud to be part of the vibrant Rutland community. Our practice is led by local Kelowna dentists, Dr. Mike Stearns and Dr. Priya Stearns, whose journey brought them full circle back to their hometown.

Dr. Mike Stearns grew up right here in Rutland, attending Rutland Elementary, Rutland Middle, and graduating from Rutland Senior Secondary. Dr. Priya Stearns, originally from Revelstoke, moved to Kelowna to graduate from Okanagan Mission Secondary. Mike and Priya met at the University of British Columbia Dental School, sharing a vision to one day return home and establish a welcoming dentist office in Kelowna that would provide exceptional dental care in a comfortable and modern environment.

Since taking ownership in late 2019, Dr. Mike and Dr. Priya have dedicated themselves to providing quality dental care that emphasizes patient comfort, trust, and advanced treatment methods. After serving communities across northern Alberta, the Yukon, and the South Okanagan, they fulfilled their goal of returning to Kelowna and giving back to the community they love.

In August 2022, Rutland Dental Centre moved into a brand-new, state-of-the-art office located in the Sole Rutland building at the corner of Rutland Road N and Bach Road. Our bright, spacious dentist office in Kelowna was thoughtfully designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring the latest dental technologies and relaxing treatment rooms.
