Dr. Mike Stearns and Dr. Priya Stearns

At the end of 2019, Dr. Mike Stearns and Dr. Priya Stearns took over the practice as the new owners. As they are both from Kelowna, this is truly a homecoming for the two of them after practicing in areas such as northern Alberta, the Yukon, and the South Okanagan previously. Dr. Mike Stearns grew up a resident of the Rutland area, attending Rutland Elementary School, Rutland Middle School, and graduating from Rutland Senior Secondary. Dr. Priya Stearns was raised in Revelstoke, BC, but moved to Kelowna in time to attend and graduate from Okanagan Mission Secondary. Mike and Priya met while attending dental school at the University of British Columbia, and it was always their goal to return home.

In August of 2022, Mike and Priya moved the practice from its previous location to a brand new office space in the Sole Rutland building at the corner of Rutland Road N and Bach Road. This new clinic was a dream turned into reality, and the team at Rutland Dental Centre is proud to continue to serve the community in a bright, modern, and comfortable setting.
